I wrote a Master research paper and conducted my Master research in Costa Rica about “Wildlife Capture and Wildlife Kept as Pets: A Case Study of Squirrel Monkeys in Costa Rica.”
I studied Squirrel Monkeys in the South Pacific of Costa Rica for about 6 months from January to June in 2011. It was one of the most memorable and exciting experiences in my life and as a biologist.
The Osa Peninsula is one of the most biodiverse areas of this planet – and one of the most interesting places to live as a biologist.
To research in this amazing rainforest and to help with it’s conservation would be a dream coming true for me!
My recent interest evolves around protecting the beautiful Osa Peninsula, and the ocean surrounding it!
I am hopefully going to begin to work soon in a new conservation project which involves reducing the spread of Palm Oil plantations on the Osa. I will keep you posted 🙂
